Hello. due to some blogger problems, i can only upload this photo. well anw fusion is over. means school is also over. i'm kind of a grad now. living a laid back life, thinking of what to do the next day. (think ridz and i after the o's).

This time however at least i'm heng to say i've alr got a job somewhere before i grad. So i can save the trouble of going to interview and panicking for a job. heh heh

Speaking of job, i wasn't really very prepared for fusion itself, site not complete etc. Could have done better but what's done can't be undone. I will still go for my dream of working in advertising, which is really in the circle which i'm doing now. Just not there yet.

Now school is done with, the people will be missed lar. Many cliques i've had in poly, mainly group 9, special needs in year 1. The ogls, soccer kakis and da clique in year 2. And definitely the IM and FY group that i got to know more in year 3. I think i've got to know most of the people in dmd.

I seriously think poly is more fun than jc, in my opinion. I mean since when do you u get the chance to go to France and do design and have fun for 1 week during your final year project with your school director. And not to forget wearing home clothes and talk loudly.

Ok, in short poly life was much fun.

Oh btw juno was great. Really good show. I even got the soundtrack.

Ok tiny update on CNY. no more braceface. actually its quite fast, its just one and half years. I've got friends who put it earlier and have yet to remove them. oh well, one thing bad its how troublesome the retainers will be.

Hi all. Lunch during final year is quite a ride sometimes. We often have a dilemma in trying to find a place to go for lunch. Anyway on a certain day this week, ying found a nasi lemak store somewhere in amk.

It was good. but i can't rem the add. just take a 265 and try your luck. Its at a quieter part of amk. yea. 2 thumbs up for the rice and mighty ingredients.

Ying and caught Cloverfield. One word, Kanjiong... I like the idea of hand held video cam filming the whole sequence, although it can get a bit nauseous. 4/5 stars for me.

Anyway fusion web is quite complicated. For me, i'm quite stuck with what i'm doing. I'm already missing important deadlines and behind time. Upon reading ting's entry, i too must write one before the new year right.

2007 has quite a bit of ups and downs. Nonetheless, its a year well spent.

Let me see what I've accomplished for the past year...

1) I never got more drunk in my life than on the 1st day of 2007.
2) I acted in a short film, which was very fun
3) I ate Bar-Chor Mee for the first time and i'm lovin it
4) I thought i was going be short-sighted, given the number of hours i stare at the com each day... But i did not.
5) I finally got my fender strat.
6) I managed 13 pull-ups (so far).
7) I stepped foot on Europe for the first time, which was France with a wonderful group of people.

i guess there are a lot more that i can't think of right now. things that i want to achieve next year... a.k.a new year resolution.

1) To get my car licence
2) Stable income
3) Win awards ( yes last chance)
4) Have more fun then what i had this year

Bonjour!

This week at school.. The website is finally progressing. Currently we are trying to make it relly eye candilicious. haha

Anyway, Bc's and Joshy's brithday dinner at Billy Bombers. was quite fun as many people turned up.

Ying and i rented howl's moving castle from an automatic dvd rental machine. haha its free when you first sign up. anw its a nice animation. ok, i'm not really good at elaborating.

After that i headed to Ms Amy's gathering at her place. time really flies because i still remeber going there during CNY in year 1. Now's like almost graduating already.

Anw we talked bout overseas studying, school gossips and stuff. Brings back memories when she used to criticise our work so badly till then point when we didn't really like her. Of course now we know how valuable those were. If only our whoever can be bothered huh. haha

Ok i must start preparing for fusion already.

I miss France! haha those were the times. If i have the chance, i'll definitely go back there. Of course the company was great too.

anw fast fowrard to now. chopped my hair, i always miss my long hair. now i'm determined to grow it long long long until ns.

My mac at fy. my team is doing fusion and for the future fusion team, its not easy because theres not only techical and art direction stuff to handle. much deeper than that.

Hope we'll do well. prior to that, i'm glad to have a fun and talented group of people working with me. not forgetting the crazy peeps at fy. We are even holding a x-mas party on the eve of x-mas.

We had a fire drill excercise on thurs. everyone wore slips( act i wear them everyday) and coen was like 'Don't think i won;t spot check ahhh."

anw we bought a ps3. woooo. before that, we got a 37 high def tv and a fridge. i think my mom has struck lottery but didn't tell us.

This is my younger brother, Lucas fyi. Yes we are so very different.

quite a late post but anw we sakae'd on ying's birthday last wkend. yea usual cliques.

ying and i wanted to do some shopping on friday but it was quite late already, all the shops were pretty much out for the day. anw we ate at the jap place at city hall. cheaper than sakae with probably more varieties. its just beside gramaphone.

sat was a long day. i met up with the france peeps to pay our air tix. went town and ended up buying a pants, shorts and a belt. its been a while since i got a bottom i must say. well anw ying and i went to Andy Warhol's 2 days only exhibition at m'hd sultan area. not bad peeps. pretty inspiring.

HEllO, all the way from office.

things are quite slow now so im actually blogging.

anw was reading through sj's archive. those days were so fun. totally carefree, whatever, gay days with the marists and all.

in about 4 months time i will grad and soon go into ns. then in a blink of an eye, i will be working full time or maybe getting a degree. soon i will reach 30 years old and by then i will look back at my haydays.

hopefully i will still keep in contact with all my childhood friends during that quarter-life crisis period.

today was quite fun actually. went to print the propaganda posters at city hall, hunt for stuff, went for dental which was at a new 17th storey place and back to school to gossip with ms pat.
got a ride from anthea together with some of the guys from fy. imagine 4 guys hitching a ride from a girl. shame shame.

then i met my mom at her office to head to vivo. was supposed to get my windbreaker, she ended up buying one for herself at esprit some more. haha

sis met up with us and we ate at sushi tei. i rem someone used to work at sushi tei but cant rem.

anw ms pat told us that we are given the choice to extend one more day in paris after the competition. which in old school terms, its teh roxxors!! im gonna visit the eiffel tower, the arc thingy, downtown, tour de france, lourve and take a train to LONDON and back.

hahaha. in 1 day, highly undo-able. see how it goes. plus we gotta wait for jasmine if she wants to stay. please say yes jas.

Girls, if any of u all are interested in helping out at a reception during the singapore design festival for 2 days, from about 11am - 2/3pm. It would be a design exhibition with lots of media and coverage. would be fun and i'll be there too. I'm not sure about the details but i think its on 5 dec.

ying and i caught lust caution last night. guess who we met, jackson tan of :phunk/ black design. bloody tall guy and he was just sitting behind us. haha anw the show was at 12 and it ended at 3.

not trying to be a film buff but the show in my opinion is good. solid storyline and i just like the idea of a war-time setting. unfortunately for us, we did not get to see the cut sex scenes. now i know why critics are complaining about that because it will provide a better visual explanation of the relationship btwn the 2 people up there.

nice stuff though. just dont watch it that late.

This week at work, we had a photoshoot with the minstry of manpower, for their annual report. got to know a few cool people and take part in a photoshoot. damn fun man, and not forgetting slack. hahaha

today was not the usual working day. at least for the first 2 hrs plus. we went to MOM to reki for the photoshoot we are having next week. sounds fun. because i will sort of have a day off yea, by not getting stuck in the office.

HEY ALL. This week went past so fast. First it was the mid-autumn fest on tues. so we all went out to chinatown and clarke quay after work. yw and tt got the pics. i got some on facebook. so check them out.

Poor Ying's left eye was hurting when we went jamming yesterday so we went to see a doc with her dad. turns out she got an ulcer in her eye. no idea what that is but she had to do some dye testing to check for any problems. haha

Hello world.

Today was my first day of my internship at foreignpolicy. reached early so i went to the canteen and drank tea and water. stoned for a while then i headed down to the office. while waiting for the boss to open the door, i was making sure i look neat and presentable. Unknowingly just when i was checking my breath for unpleasant tea odour, the boss appeared beside me. great start

Anw work was tiring, but really its pretty fun and cool. my company has only 3 people can, including me. the company is actually only a room, a rented space but well furnished. one look you know its a design firm. toys, books, paintings, messy boards and of course MACS. you tell me how am i gonna use my hard disk. haha

The location is right smacked in the middle of an industrial universe at kallang, btw its near maris stella. like 3, 4 stops away. welcome back homey

Just finished my audio creation assg report. WE got to play King Kong the game demo and write a report on the music and sound effects. pretty simple and fun. but i'm like so tired now. ahha

we have only 2 and a half weeks left of module time. omg so fast. then 2 weeks of hols and pom, off to iap. that quick

my girlfriend is just on her way home from school, doing up stuff fer her art and hist presentation tmr. good luck.

anyways, ying and i caught THE SIMPSONS!!!!! the cathay sold the exact donut with coffee in the show. chilling queens we are.

Hello World. The past week was quite exhausting. Had art and hist presentation on wed which was madness. didnt rehearse and all, but i think it was pretty alrite. yea well done girls.

anw the whole week i would say most of us were rushing fer RIA. which is rich internet application. a module which u have to face the scripts, this time round double of what we had last sem. php plus actionscript. anw i was more into interactivity and graphics. so well

rem staying back to try to link the database and flash on tues with chooon kiat, yawen, kt, ying and danni. just made a din in the lab and we also ordered canadian. now thats campus life.

After the presentation on wed, i went fer tightening and the uncle told me i had a hole which might lead to decay on my front tooth. so i had to endure a bloody sensitive procedure which was cannot tahan'd.

anw jam'd with ridz and joaqium aftr that which was quite fun.

usual thing on thurs. fri was RIA submission day and i pon'd audio can just to finish it. aftr that i rot the night and sat at ying's place.

Hi all. i have good news and some bad news. the good news is that digi matte class is cancelled. bad news is that digi matte class is cancelled. yea

anw i actually thought of hopping down to the library and do some research, but you see the weather is so hot, sometimes is better to stay indoors. see how later lar.

alrite since i've got not much stuff on now, i'll talk about my year 3 school life.

on monday 10am, i have this module called art and design history. theres no real objective of this module, its more of a go a big round of research and thinking and presenting and still cant answer the question of what is art. there you go, one hour of lesson.

we have to split into groups of 3-4. my group consist of huiwen, audrey and vanessa. we are presenting next wk and our topic is on advertising art. sounds cool? yea maybe

then normally, we'll go fer lunch then head back to our block to do last minute powerpoint slides fer the next module, user centered design. ucd in short, has no relevance to user interaction and GUI. reason? i heard they named it wrongly. i was supposed to be interaction design, which we did last sem.

so fer ucd, what we'd do is we'll go through some tutorials on haptics and interaction devices and projections. more physical interaction stuff, rather that the usual flash and director stuff.

fer ucd, my group consist of myself, danni and dezhang. danni is a laidback, smart and always talk on msn to her baobei girl, whicle dezhang is probably the craziest, photo shoring scripter around.

tuesday, i have digital matte painting. as the name suggests, its painting digitally. its a 3 hours, pretty chilling out, listening to a lecturer who speaks in her native slang kind of module. its quite fun overall i must say.

for wednesday. its normally not a schoold day fer me, because its art and hist lecture. it starts at 9 and the lecturers will go through the powerpoint slides and fifteen minutes later, you can go home. yea sometimes its that fucked-up.

ok thursay is the longest day of the week. seriously. rich internet application is at 9am. the advanced flash, php scipting module conducted by the multi-disciplined interaction software virtuoso stephen choong. makes us sounds cool yea? but all we do is just copy what he types and have fun. unfortunately for my moduel batch this sem, scripting is not really our cup of tea. but sometimes its pretty cool lar.

ok after lesson, we'll head to the fy room to put our bags. lunch is later, and on some days we'll head out of school. most of the time amk.

aftr lunch its normally RNR until some of their lessons at 3. fer me, i have a total of 6 hrs to kill till soccer. sometimes, i'll crash their lesson and do my stuff. if not i'll go home and take a nap.

at 6, its weekly soccer that its the only thing i do to keep my fit fer napfa. nomally we'll play till 9, 9.30. then we'll head to either a hawker centre and block 505, or amk s-11.
reach home at around 11 plus. long day

on friday. we have this module called audio creation. its not the usuual unleash your imagination kind of stuff. you'll need a lot of discipline to go through this.

ok thats quite a bit on my school timetable.

last week of the hols was pretty busy.

cg overdrive was quite fun with ying and a few guys we met there. nicholas who was from dmd as well, angel and kien. nice folks. kudos to all who came and said hi.
